Employment Termination Policy

Company: Alanazi Rent a Car Company

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to establish clear and fair guidelines for the termination of employment at Alanazi Rent a Car Company. The policy ensures compliance with the labor laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and promotes transparency, fairness, and professionalism in all termination processes.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees of Alanazi Rent a Car Company, regardless of their position, contract type, or length of service.

3. Types of Termination

Voluntary Resignation

Employees may resign from their position by submitting a written resignation notice.

Notice period must comply with the terms of the employment contract and Saudi labor law.

Mutual Agreement

Employment may end upon mutual agreement between the employee and the company.

End of Contract

Employment will automatically terminate upon the completion of the employment contract period, unless renewed.

Termination by the Company (Involuntary Termination)

Redundancy, restructuring, or business requirements.

Unsatisfactory job performance, after fair evaluation and written warnings.

Violation of company policies or code of conduct.

Misconduct, fraud, or breach of trust.

Violation of Saudi labor laws and regulations.

4. Notice Period

Employees and the company must observe the notice period stated in the employment contract, in line with Saudi labor law. The company reserves the right to provide payment in lieu of notice if immediate termination is necessary.

5. Final Settlement

Upon termination, the company will provide the employee with:

Final salary up to the last working day.

Payment for unused annual leave (if applicable).

End of Service Benefits (EOSB) in accordance with Saudi labor law.

Any other entitlements as per the employment contract.

6. Return of Company Property

Employees must return all company property, including:

Company ID card, uniforms, access cards.

Vehicles, equipment, devices, or tools.

Documents, files, and confidential information.

Failure to return company property may result in deductions from the final settlement, as permitted by law.

7. Exit Procedures

HR will conduct an exit interview to collect feedback and ensure smooth handover.

Clearance forms must be signed by relevant departments (HR, Finance, IT, Administration).

Final settlement and documents (service certificate, release letter) will be issued after clearance.

8. Confidentiality

All employees are reminded that confidentiality obligations continue even after termination. Disclosure of sensitive company or client information is strictly prohibited.

9. Compliance with Law

This policy shall always comply with the Saudi Labor Law and any applicable regulations of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD). In case of conflict, the law shall prevail.
